FIRST NORTH AMERICAN M&V EXPERT & EDUCATOR WORKSHOP
In February, Stetz Consulting in partnership with the Efficiency Valuation Organization (EVO) offered the inaugural North American M&V for Experts and Educators class in Las Vegas, NV. This three-day intimate workshop was limited to individuals that hold a Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) designation from the Association of Energy Engineers.
This workshop provided training in statistics, data loggers, mechanical equipment performance, and advanced savings calculations. Presentation skills and critical thinking were improved by requiring participants to present case studies of current projects.
Both the instructor and their peers evaluated students; this provided immediate feedback and a free exchange of ideas that added even more value for class participants. Two classes were offered to accommodate a total of 16 people, who came from as far away as Canada, Puerto Rico, Spain, and Botswana.
