Stetz Consulting is an EPA Energy Star Service Provider. We can help you improve your building’s operation using Energy Star tools and recommendations.

Stetz Consulting LLC recently assisted Durango’s historic Strater Hotel earn the Energy Star label. By validating utility bills, verifying building size and operating hours and ensuring that quality environmental services are being met (comfort, lighting, outdoor air and minimal contaminants), the EPA can award the label with assurances that the 81 score was not achieved by compromising performance.

EPA’s Portfolio Manager is a useful tool designed to track building energy use and carbon emissions. Portfolio Manager is an interactive energy management tool that allows you to track and assess energy and water consumption across your entire portfolio of buildings in a secure online environment. Whether you own, manage, or hold properties for investment, Portfolio Manager can help you set investment priorities, identify under-performing buildings, verify efficiency improvements, and receive EPA recognition for superior energy performance. We can set up your Portfolio Manager account, validate utility bill data, and train your staff to monitor your building’s performance. If your building rates a score of 75 or more, we can help apply for the distinguished Energy Star label.

As part of the EPA’s effort to increase energy awareness in primary education facilities, Stetz Consulting LLC is offering free Energy Star certifications for K-12 schools in Archuleta, La Plata, and Montezuma counties in Southwestern Colorado.  More information on this program is available at the Energy Star web page.
